The Professional English Program is designed to enable working professionals to improve their English communication skills.
The courses in this program are more than just "business English," and they are not just for "business people." They are designed to help professionals of all types with the tools they need to interact in English with others on a personal and professional level. The materials used emphasize cultural issues in the professional workplace, as well as different levels of discourse, networking, presentation skills, and industry trends.
This variety allows for all types of learners to join a class that specifically fits their needs and learning styles.
Our instructors have specialized training and experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to professionals. They also have general experience working in American businesses and organizations in a wide variety of industries.
The Professional English course enables you to fully explore a wide range of topics in a group setting. Your instructors will lead discussion-based classes, highlighting cultural aspects of communication and focusing on a variety of activities. Conducting meetings, negotiating, telephoning, presenting, socializing, formal writing, and interviewing are some of the topics that are developed through weekly critique, role-plays, and case studies. Instructors constantly adapt the curriculum to suit the needs of the participating students. Customized readings, presentations, and vocabulary allow you to efficiently and effectively improve at a rapid pace.
Flexibility: Instructors adjust lesson & lab hours to address individual needs. Classes are provided during the evening, and the student can schedule his lab hours whenever he wants during the day and/or before regular classes.
